The fifth international data storage technology conference will be held in bangkok, thailand. the technical program of dst-con will consist of plenary talks, oral and poster presentations. submitted papers should describe original work in the form of theoretical modeling, design, experimental validation, or case studies from all areas of data storage technologies but in particular focusing on new emerging paradigms and application areas including but not limited to:
1. recording head & madia technology
2. mechatronics & servo systems
3. read channel techology
4. automation technology
5. esd & contamination
6. tribology in hdd
7. data storage techology & applications
8. production and operation management
9. mechanical component design
10. other related areas

important dates:
paper submissions: 30th October 2012
notification of acceptance: 30th November 2012
final submission: 15th December 2012
conference venue: bangkok

Paper submission:
prospective authors are invited to submit original full papers without author’s names and affiliations, in english, of not more than four (4) pages in standard ieee two-column format only. papers must be submitted only by internet through the conference website. authors must register before submitting their papers by clicking at "paper submission".

ความร่วมมือกับ สกว. ในการร่วมสนับสนุนทุนคปก. - อุตสาหกรรม จำนวนปีละ 5 ทุน
เป็นเวลา 5 ปี โดยเริ่มตั้งแต่ปี 2555 โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายจะร่วมสนับสนุนค่าใช้จ่ายฝ่ายละครึ่งหนึ่ง
หากอาจารย์ท่านใดสนใจที่จะทำงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ Hard Disk Drive Technology
